Kaitlyn Ann Vincie

Kaitlyn Anne Vinciewas born on 10th December 1987, is an American journalist and sports anchor. She works for the Fox NASCAR team as a reporter and presents in their weekly news and update show NASCAR Race Hub. Vincie started her journey into stock car racing when she was given a pit lane pass. After finishing her studies at Christopher Newport University she worked at Langley Speedway as a reporter. Vincie's self-made NASCAR videos were posted on SceneDaily an online website that tracks stock cars. Vincie was born in Harrisonburg, Virginia on December 10 in 1987. Her family moved to Warrenton shortly after Vincie entered high school. Vincie is the daughter of John and Margaret Vincie and has one older sister. Vincie's grandmother Eleanor N. Logan (a fifth-grade teacher) was her maternal grandfather who was part of Bridgewater College's faculty. She was interested in journalism since a young age. Vincie was a graduate of Fauquier High School. She competed in track and field events, as well as worked as a coach of the school's team in wrestling for four years. Vincie was the winner of the 800m race of the AAA Cedar Run District. Vincie met Al Pearce, a journalist who mentored her and provided Vincie plenty of tips. In 2010 she completed her degree at Christopher Newport University with a bachelor's in communications. Vincie was an intern in the university's athletics department, and was also employed with the USAR Pro Cup Series at Charlotte Motor Speedway. She wrote a dissertation for her senior year about gender-based disparities in auto racing which focused on female race car driver Danica Patrick. She became attracted to the sport when she secured a pit lane pass for the NASCAR All-Star Race. Her influences include Wendy Venturini, Krista Volda, and Wendy Venturini.
