Kelly was raised in South Carolina with her two older sisters, Kaitlyn (and Carolyn) and her mother, Carolyn. However, Kelly hasn't shared any details about her parents, such as their names and professions. As a kid, she loved attending baseball games with her father. Kelly graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Youth Development Leadership from Clemson in South Carolina when she was graduated from high school. She later enrolled in the University of Miami, where she received a master's diploma in Broadcast Journalism. Kelly was part of the ACC Digital Network's intern team and worked as an assistant in the production. After the completion of her work experience, Kelly received an offer to join the ACC Digital Networks. Kelly began her career as a news reporter who specialized in sports as well as conducting interviews on the show "ACC Kickoff", aired on Saturdays. From 2013 to 2013, she was with the company, where she was also a part of the "ACC NOW" show. Following her time at ACC Digital Network ended, she joined Fox Sports Florida as a reporter on the sidelines. Due to her efforts she was offered a job by Fox Sports Sun, covering the Tampa Bay Rays, Orlando Magic and Tampa Bay Lightning franchises, covering stories and news concerning the particular teams.
